In 1987, Magguite embarked on her fashion journey while pursuing her bachelor's degree in marketing, selling clothes part-time from the trunk of her car or a room in her first apartment. Over the years, she juggled various jobs, but her unwavering commitment remained focused on selling women's apparel. 

In 2007 the resilient and enterprising Magguite founded what our loyal clients named “La Tiendita de Magguite”. Our store came into existence during the challenging times of the recession. When Magguite saw her career in real estate starting to be impacted by the economic downturn, she decided to explore new avenues to provide for her two children. This decision led her on a remarkable journey that gave birth to the wonderful world of Magguite Shop.

Over the years, Magguite's daughter, Margheritte, has also become an integral part of the business. As a dynamic mother-daughter team, they have poured their hearts into bringing the best to our valued customers in Puerto Rico.
